Eight still being treated for bus wreck injuries

Six students, a faculty member and his wife still are being treated in hospitals throughout the state for injuries resulting from the shuttle bus accident south of Ballinger. Based on the best information available to the Optimist at 1 p.m. Monday, those being treated include:

Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene
Tiffany Lutz of Zelienople, Pa., in good condition
Merissa Ford of Maple Valley, Wash., in good condition
Transferred to a hospital in Houston
Naomi Cruz of Richmond, in critical condition
Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo
Pat Miller of Hawley, in critical condition
Emmett Miller of Hawley, in good condition
Anna Watson of Kerrville, in fair condition
Parkland Medical Center in Dallas
Anna Ciufo of The Woodlands, in fair condition
Community Hospital in San Angelo
Allison Dorshorst of Colleyville, in fair condition
Treated and released were:
Dr. Jim Cooke of Abilene, released Saturday
Haley Wilkerson of Ravenna, released Friday
Mandy Wilson of Walsenburg, Colo., released Friday
Jason Iris of Southhampton, Bermuda, released Friday
Dr. Michael Nicodemus of Abilene, released Friday
Kendra Unamba of Midlothian, released Friday
Kathleen Henderson of Rockport, released Saturday
